Three Hurricanes stars were named AP All-Americans on Monday.

Offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa was named a first-team All-American, while defensive end Rueben Bain Jr. and wide receiver Malachi Toney were named second-team All-Americans, AP announced.

Mauigoa has received several honors after his junior season. The American Samoa native was previously named a first-team All-ACC pick by AP and by the conference itself. He was also named an All-American by CBS Sports and the Walter Camp Foundation.

Mauigoa, who has been UM’s starting right tackle since his freshman season, had an 85.7 offensive grade from Pro Football Focus, which ranked seventh nationally and first in the ACC. His 88.3 pass-blocking grade was 16th nationally and second in the conference. His 80.8 run-blocking grade was 23rd nationally and second in the ACC. Mauigoa allowed just two sacks and nine total pressures this season.

Mauigoa is projected to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Bain has had a similarly successful season. He was a first-team All-ACC selection and was voted the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year. Bain was also picked as a first-team All-American by the Walter Camp Foundation.

Bain, who is listed by ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. as the top defensive end in next year’s draft class, had 37 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. Bain had a 92.7 defensive grade from PFF, which was third-best in the nation. Bain was sixth in the nation with 58 total quarterback pressures.

Toney became the focal point of the Hurricanes’ offense during his stellar freshman season. He set a Miami freshman record with 970 receiving yards and is approaching Xavier Restrepo’s UM single-season record of 85 receptions. Toney also has seven touchdown catches as well as two touchdown throws and one touchdown run.

Toney was also named the ACC’s Rookie of the Year and was a PFF All-American.
