Steve Bousquet

Steve Bousquet is Opinion Editor and columnist for the Sun Sentinel. He has four decades of experience as a Florida journalist in South Florida and Tallahassee, where he also reported for the Miami Herald and Tampa Bay Times. He was a member of the Herald staff that won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for coverage of Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Before joining the Herald, he was a Broward reporter for WPLG, Channel 10 in Miami. A native of Rhode Island, Steve has a master's degree in history from Florida State University and has covered seven Florida governors, dating to Bob Martinez (1987-1991).
