Parshat Noach is the Torah portion where Noah, his family, and the animals are saved from the flood and tasked with repopulating the Earth.

To commemorate the passage, the Wiston Family Torah Tots at Temple Torat Emet in Boynton Beach hosted a special animal-themed Tot Shabbat on Oct. 24. Teachers and students dressed as animals and spent the day learning about Noah with crafts, stories, and smiles.

On Oct. 26, the temple kept the animal-centric celebrations going with a “Blessing of the Pets” following Sunday religious school. Students and their families brought their pets along to play and celebrate the special bond we share with them.
