Every Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. children in grades K-2 join together for Kinder Klubhouse, a program through Temple Torat Emet in Boynton Beach that aims to teach Jewish children about holidays, Jewish values, and the Hebrew language.

To celebrate the High Holidays, Temple Torat Emet hosted a holiday round challah bake on Sept. 28 for KinderKlub, inviting students from their religious school (grades 3-7), parents, and grandparents to partake as well.

“A challah bake is a beautiful way for families to come together and share in tradition, love, and connection,” said Debbie Feierstein, director of the KinderKlub. “It is more than simply baking bread — it’s an opportunity to slow down, gather around the table, and create memories that last. What better way is there to begin the Jewish New Year?”

“The event was filled with joy as parents, children, and grandparents braided dough side by side, sharing stories, laughter, and traditions. This special morning highlighted the power of tradition to bring people together, strengthen bonds across generations, and fill our homes and hearts with blessings.”
