The Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center’s (Levis JCC) Schwedelson Special Needs Department’s Camp Kavod, Palm Beach County’s largest day camp serving children and teens with special needs, hosted its annual Teen Summer Dance on July 10 at the Levis JCC campus, with funds provided by Hands on Tzedakah. Campers dressed in their best ’80s-themed attire to dance the night away to a live DJ. The campers also enjoyed contests, games, snacks and a photo booth.

Camp Kavod provides a fun summer atmosphere for special needs children starting at age three. The camp provides low teacher-to-student ratios, field trips, and opportunities for inclusion. Activities such as swimming, sports, and arts and crafts are designed to help foster independence and teach important life skills.
