Barry Katz, 83, of Hollywood, FL died at home surrounded by love on December 18, 2025. He grew up between the Bronx, NY and Miami Beach, FL where he attended Miami Beach High and earned his way into the University of Miami. He joined the family business in real estate management but it wasn’t just all work and no play for Barry. He made beautiful stained glass lamps, tried out figure skating in his 50’s, became a talented country western dancer, and loved art no matter whether it was a piece of fine art or a TJ Maxx find. He was a widower to his wife, Lois, and a long time sweetie to Kathy Lohse. He is survived by his two children, Michael and Harvey, but will be missed by so many who loved him like family.
